The Vilcek Foundation Archive collects, preserves, and makes accessible records that document the foundation’s history and support the foundation’s mission to raise awareness of immigrant contributions in the United States and to foster appreciation of the arts and sciences.
The Archive was established in 2022 to build a formal structure to organize and preserve the history of the foundation’s work, and to implement systems that would be transparent and enable the foundation to share more of our historic, internal, and day-to-day work both with our constituents and with the wider public.
The Archive includes photographs, videos, audio recordings, program records, publications, memorabilia, and foundation ephemera. Portions of the Archive will become available to the public in the future, including:

- Administrative records relating to the foundation’s establishment and headquarters
- Documentation of events, exhibitions, grants, prizes, art collection, and public programming, including video, photographs, audio, and publications
- Press releases and media coverage about the Vilcek Foundation
- Collected papers and ephemera related to key staff members including cofounders Marica Vilcek and Jan T. Vilcek
