We’ve moved!

After years of renovation, we’ve packed our bags and moved! Our brand-new headquarters are located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, at 21 East 70th Street, New York, NY 10021.

This five-story landmark building marks a new stage in the Vilcek Foundation’s mission and programming. The additional administrative space will accommodate our expanded staff as we continue to build upon our programs celebrating and supporting immigrant contributions to the United States.

The Vilcek Foundation's new headquarters is located at 21 East 70th Street, New York, NY 10021

The headquarters will also include two floors of exhibition space, where our art collections will be available for public viewing. The opening exhibition, scheduled for spring 2019, will focus on the Torn Signs series by Canadian-born artist Ralston Crawford. Stay tuned for more information!

The space was formerly occupied by Hirshl & Adler Galleries, and renovations were overseen by Architecture Research Office, with Adam Yarinsky as the architect of record. Originally built as a townhouse with a neoclassical façade in 1919, the structure was turned into a commercial art gallery in the 1960s. In preparation for our move, the interior has been completely renovated, and the façade updated and restored.

Make sure to update your address book, and come visit us soon!
