Each year on Independence Day, the Carnegie Corporation of New York salutes immigrants who contribute to our vibrant nation with “Immigrants: The Pride of America,” a full-page ad in the New York Times.

We are excited to announce that three past and present Vilcek Prizewinners join the ranks of award recipients recognized by the Carnegie Corporation: Joanna Wysocka, 2013 Vilcek Prizewinner for Creative Promise in Biomedical Science, Ham Tran, 2009 Vilcek Prizewinner for Creative Promise in Filmmaking, and Osvaldo Golijov, 2008 Vilcek Prizewinner in Music.
