Jenn Woo is a Brazilian-American multifaceted creative born in São Paulo and raised in Brooklyn, NY. A rising sophomore at Bard College, Woo works at the school’s Center for Civic Engagement and is a member of the Black Student Organization and Code Red, a menstrual equity initiative. She previously studied performing arts at the Interlochen Arts Academy and Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, and received a pre-professional fellowship from Lincoln Center’s Mentor-Linc program.
Woo hopes to continue her professional career as a documentary filmmaker, seeking to tell intimate and contemporary stories about the issues facing today’s society. In her free time, Woo enjoys reading, watching films, and spending time with her friends.
