Creative Content Manager Kayla Clifford assists in the development and implementation of events and programs at the Vilcek Foundation. Kayla also works closely with executive staff on the development of brand identity, through the cultivation of content and production of videos for web and social media.
Kayla first joined the Vilcek Foundation in 2018 as an intern, providing administrative, research, and communications support before assuming her current position in the fall of 2019. Prior to working with the Vilcek Foundation, Kayla was a summer program coordinator with the American Language Institute; this experience ignited Kayla’s passion for working to support foreign-born persons living and working in the United States and inspired her to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector. Kayla was born and raised in South Africa, and values being able to work with the Vilcek Foundation to highlight and honor the contributions of immigrants in the arts and sciences.
Outside of her work with the Vilcek Foundation, Kayla is actively engaged in the performing arts; she is a writer, director, and art director, and has worked with Stonestreet Studios and the Playwright Horizons Theatre School.
