Anne-Marie Dillon

Executive Assistant

Anne-Marie Dillon is the executive assistant at the Vilcek Foundation. In this role, she supports the leadership of the president, contributes to the success of the foundation’s programs through administrative and logistical coordination, and liaises with executive leadership and the board of directors.

Dillon brings seven years of comprehensive knowledge in executive support, curatorial research, and events programming to her role at the foundation. With experience spanning the private and nonprofit arts sectors, Dillon lends a dynamic administrative perspective informed by a sustained commitment to social justice.

Prior to working with the Vilcek Foundation, Dillon served as the assistant to the president at Petzel Gallery, where she aided the administration, sales, and curatorial programming of the storied contemporary art gallery. Dillon was the inaugural community archives & preservation fellow at the LGBT Community Center National History Archive, where she coordinated grants for partnering activist organizations and programmed collaborative public events.

Dillon graduated from Columbia University with a degree in history, and was awarded the 2023 Academy of American Poets Prize. In her time at Columbia, she co-founded and led the Housing Equity Project Direct Outreach Initiative, a daily street engagement program that provides emergency meals and services to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Dillon is passionate about accessibility in the arts. She sustains an active film and arts programming practice, coordinating monthly community film and literature events. The daughter of an Irish immigrant, she volunteers with migrant justice organizations based in Brooklyn.
