Working with the programs manager, Kim has overseen the visioning of the Vilcek Foundation’s racial equity goals along with other initiatives to align with best practices in awards-granting institutions.
Prior to joining the Vilcek Foundation, Kim worked at the International Studio & Curatorial Program in Brooklyn, New York, where she managed residency logistics and exhibition programs for hundreds of artists and curators from over 60 countries. As an independent curator, she has curated and presented exhibitions in New York, Paris, Rome, and Seoul. Kim was also a Curatorial Committee Member for the International Incheon Women Artists’ Biennale, which showed in Incheon, South Korea, in 2009.
Kim completed a bachelor’s degree at the Université de Paris VIII and coursework toward a master’s degree, both in visual arts. She is passionate about fostering meaningful connections between artists and arts organizations, and enjoys working with people who have international backgrounds.
