Alice Bothwell

Administrative Assistant

As the Administrative Assistant at the Vilcek Foundation, Alice Bothwell collaborates with the administrative and communications staff on internal and external projects.

Bothwell graduated from Wake Forest University in 2022 with a BA in Sociology and Art History. She is passionate about the Vilcek Foundation’s mission to provide visibility to immigrant contributions, as it combines her interest in arts and social justice.

While completing her undergraduate degree, Bothwell developed a keen interest in writing and communications. She minored in writing and worked as a Writing Center Tutor.  Bothwell also worked at Wake Forest Law School as a Research Assistant where her primary focuses were the role of race in Greek life on campuses and mass incarceration in the US.

Prior to joining the Vilcek Foundation, Bothwell worked as a Claims Administrator with Barasch and McGarry. In this role, she worked on victim’s advocacy and supported client services for 9/11 victims, while liaising with the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.
