The Vilcek Foundation raises awareness of immigrant contributions in the United States, and fosters appreciation of the arts and sciences.

We are committed to diversity and inclusive exchange. Through our prizes, grantmaking, and art collection, we celebrate immigrant artists and scientists, and leaders who advocate for immigrant rights.

Open call for immigrant biomedical scientists

Applications are now open for the 2025 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Biomedical Science. Three prizes of $50,000 will be awarded to young, immigrant biomedical scientists who demonstrate outstanding early achievement. Learn more about the eligibility requirements and apply today!

Applications are now open for the 2025 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Visual Arts and Curatorial Work. Three prizes of $50,000 will be awarded to young, immigrant visual artists and three prizes of $50,000 will be awarded to young, immigrant curators who demonstrate outstanding early achievement.
